Kids Weaving Workshop

Beginners encouraged and welcome

Four 2 hour weaving sessions Monday evenings 6:00 - 8:00 pm

​​

Session 1 September 15, 29 & October 13, 27

​

Session 2 November 3, 17 & December 1, 15

​

Session 3 January 26 & February 2,9,16

​

Session 4 March 16, 23, 30 & April 13

​

          Ages: 13 - 19 years 

​

           Instructor: Nancy Wilson

           Workshop Cost: $75 includes use of loom

                        4H member workshop discount $10.

                       Contact 4H office for discount code for checkout

            (Workshop size max. 6)

  • Learn about several types of  weaving

  • Project planning for weaving

  • Set up and use of weaving looms

  • Student will weave a small wall hanging or make a small purse from their weaving

  • Equipment and set up there of

  • Fiber for wet felting

  • Project planning for wet felting

  • Creating a project template

  • Fiber layout

  • Using a flat resist
