KnitYour Scarf (Beginning Knitting)
KYSC1 Mondays September 19, 26 & October 3 6:00 - 8:00
(Workshop size min 6 and max. 8)

Beginners encouraged and welcome
In this beginning knitting class you will learn cast on, knit & purl stitches and casting off. We will work on these beginning skills in the first class by making a simple project (simple project supplies included).
In the second and third classes you will be knitting your scarf
Supplies needed:
two size 8 or 9 or 10 knitting needles
tape measure
4 oz. yarn from Paint Your Yarn
(If using another yarn, check with instructor in first class)
Enrollment in this workshop includes project help at Open Studio 1st and 3rd Friday evenings of the month your workshop is held.
KnitYour Hat (Beginning Knitting)
KYH1 December 5, 12 & 19 6:00 - 8:00

Beginners encouraged and welcome
In this beginning knitting workshop you will learn cast on, knit & purl stitches and casting off. We will work on these beginning skills in the first class by making a simple project (simple project supplies included).
In the second and third classes you will be knitting your rolled brim hat using circular needles
Supplies needed: two size 8 or 9 or 10 circular knitting needles
tape measure 5 oz. yarn from Paint Your Yarn

KnitYour Mittens
KYM1 Mondays October 10, 17 & 24 6:00 - 8:00
(Workshop size: min 6 and max. 10)
Instructor: Nancy Wilson
Cost: $50
Exerience required: Basic knitting skills
You will knit mittens using the 4 needle method. We will use a bulky weight yarn to knit thick mittens. You can choose to make open or closed end mittens
Supplies you will need: 5 oz Bulky weight yarn from Paint Your Yarn
(If using another yarn, check with instructor before first class)
tape measure
stitch markers
(4) size 7 or 8 double point knitting needles.

KnitYour Socks
KYSO1 November 7, 14, 21 & 28 6:00 - 8:00
(Workshop size min: 4 and max. 8)

You will knit socks using the 5 needle method. We will use a bulky weight yarn to knit thick socks.
